About Game:
War of Mercenaries does not stray far
away from the beaten path of city builders of yore, therefore you are
likely to be disappointed if you are expecting breathtaking originality,
but it does have its appeal with a fully fleshed out gameplay
characterized by careful attention to almost every minute detail.
It seems that traditional city builders
(like The Hobbit Armies of Third Age and Pixel People) never focus much
on delivering a visual feast to its audience, neither does War of
Mercenaries care to do so. It is true that no grids or squares are there
to restrain your imagination and hamper your aesthetic arrangement, but
in most cases, whatever a great start you might have, you cannot get
away from a clustered layout as you get further into the game. I know it
would not be fair if I keep being finicky about this aspect, as after
all, War of Mercenaries is not the only entry of this genre, and
actually we have seen worse.
